Sketch 02-NOV-08
I reworked some of my earlier sketches from 13-AUG-08 with the new Sharpie Pen. I fixed some of the perspective problems and colored a few with markers. I added the Car and the 2nd ship. The car is what I remember the Tron lightcycle to look like.

Sketch 20-OCT-08
I did this at breakfast yesterday. This is a variant of the ship I did on the 11th and would be used for different missions. I made the back area fatter and added a few things.

I Xeroxed the original and added some marker

Sketches 11-OCT-08
I did these 2 before I went to bed last night.

This is a clean up of the ship I posted on the 7th.

Star Trek Exhibit
While me and Little Buddy were in San Diego for Comicon in July, we stopped by the Star Trek Exhibit at The San Diego Air & Space Museum. In this photo, we are taking the Enterprise on a cruise. HERE are some more pics from the exhibit.

Sketches 10-OCT-08
I did these last night. The top ones are small, about 2″-3″. The egg shape was inspired by a hand sander. The bottom one was inspired by tractors.

Sketches 07-OCT-08
I did these at lunch today. I wanted to add wings rather than the outcroppings like the last sketches I posted.

Lunchtime Sketches
I did these yesterday at lunch and dinner. I bought some of the new Sharpie Pens and used newsprint to draw on. The Sharpie Pens don’t bleed through the paper like the Ultra-Thin markers do.
I’m still trying to get the hang of the pen. I usually use a Bic pen or Pencil and I can do construction lines easier bit I like the looser sketching and dark lines I can get with these pens.
Double Engine Fighter.

This is based on an Intercom I saw.

Speeder Idea. Nacelles are nice but I might add wings instead.

Side view of the ship above.

Cruiser Idea.

Thanks for the emails and concerns! Were all right! The power is out and no water. Were at my sisters now and they have both. I took some pics Saturday and will post them when I can.
I wish everyone the best!

Wacom Practice
Here’s one of the Concept Sketches I did a while back. I scanned in the drawing and colored it with my Wacom Tablet.

Knife Throwing
Here’s some pics on the set of the Japanese television show “Dream Vision”.
In December, 2007, Jack Dagger, Tonya Kay and I did a knife throwing segment for Dream Vision, a Japanese television show on NTV. Lots of 1200 fps knife throwing footage.

Concept Ships!
My new favorite site is Conceptships.blogspot.com/.
I got a couple sketches currently on the front page (Monday, August 4, 2008).
There is some amazing work on this site!! I think the saying “I’m not worthy!!” comes to mind!
Torchwood at Comic-Con
Here’s some pics from Comic-Con. Me and my son were really stoked to see John Barrowman (Captain Jack Harkness) and Gareth David-Lloyd (Ianto Jones) from Torchwood!! They were super cool and really down to earth!
If either of you are reading this, thanks for the photo-op!!

Comic-Con 2008
I have to say thanks to Nick at Super Modified Studios for all his kindness! He let my son have free reign of his booth and never complained!
Below is the final piece on display.
>>Here is a super Hi-res version<<

Super Modified Studios Custom pt.2
I finished the cannon today and added a little more weathering.

This one is in 3D. You need the red/blue glasses to see it.

Super Modified Studios Custom
I customized this for Nick Mannion at Super Modified Studios for Comic-Con this year.
I was going to kit bash it but thought I’d try sticking to the original design. I have a few more things to do on it but it should be done this weekend.
It will be displayed at the Super Modified Studios booth.

Im-Pohz
Here’s a logo for a clothing company called Im-Pohz.
The bottom one is the distressed version.

Bee How-To (part two)
Here’s the other Bee’s buddy. I made this one rounder and fatter to play off the big headed skinny one.
I kept the trademark 3 teeth for both characters.
