Love Hate
Cardboard Spaceship and Subtext present: Love:Hate July 26-28

This show features over 50 artists customizing a pair of Toy2R Bunee Angel & Devil Baby Qees and selected artwork with the theme of love/hate. There will be a silent auction that will end at 10PM on Saturday.

Love Hate Show
UPDATE* Vinyl Pulse has some more pics.
Cardboard Spaceship will present the Love Hate baby qee custom show on Thursday July 26th through the 28th at Subtext in SD. The show will feature pairs of devil and angel baby qees (Toy2r) from over fifty artists riffing on love and hate. The sweet lineup includes Jim Koch, Jermaine Rogers, Kathie Olivas, Martin Ontiveros, Tristan Eaton, Jeremyville, JESTER, Bucky Lastard, Bil BetsOviC, KMNDZ, Jon Burgerman, Riot68, Zoso, Sam Fout, Patrick Ma, Motorbot, rc44, Victor Marka, Abe Lincoln Jr, Leecifer, and many many more. In addition to the sneaks on the flier, here’s a preview of JESTER’s pieces. The pieces will be sold via silent auction ending at 10 PM on the 28th. So if you’ll be in town for SDCC, drop by and check it out.

First Batch!
Here’s a small update. I got a gallon of resin in and started to cast these today. The resin I used was Smooth-Cast 320. For the green and red ones, I used the Smooth-Cast 325 which is amber and added the color to it.
I ran into some problems with air bubbles. I had the same problem on the colored ones. I had to sand and fill parts of them. Once there painted, you won’t be able to see it but the clean-up was pretty time intensive.
