Ollie Johnston 1912-2008

The last of the famous 9 Old Men has passed away today at the age of 95.

He and Frank Thomas wrote the book “The Illusion of Life” which is one of the best books on animation.

The rest of the 9 old men were John Lounsbery, Les Clark, Wooilie Reitherman, Milt Kahl, Eric Larson, Marc Davis, Ward Kimball, Frank Thomas and of course Ollie Johnston.

Blast from the Past!

I found these in storage at my sister’s house. All are at least 15 years old. The boots were done in 1985 so it is 23 years old. The others were early 90′s.
