Here’s a photo of my Grandparents and my Sisters in front of our house in Jersey.
I adjusted the colors to get it closer to what it was really like.

There was a Vans book signing here in Houston and Jace and I were looking forward to meeting Tony Alva and Steve Caballero.

Ever since Jace watched the “Dogtown and Z-Boys” documentary, he’s been a Tony Alva fan. Tony Alva was up there with Evel Knievel and John Wayne as one of my childhood heroes and it was great to finally meet him in person.

Both guys were very kind and we were lucky enough to get this great photo.
