I took a few pics when I was sketching this out yesterday. It’s not really a tutorial but shows some of the steps I took.
A friend of mine needed some robot sketches for his kids room. He wanted some iconic robots. These were the first 2 that came to mond.
I’m not a big fan of the stubby brick-like muscle cars that are being made today! Here is my version (top).
Here’s my submission for the CDF’s Batmobile Design Contest
Here’s a few sketches I did for the IDSketching weekly sketch challenge.
The line art of the blue-tooth was drawn by Spencer Nugent and we had to render it.
This one was for Desktop Speakers. I don’t have a lot of room on my desk so I designed some chair speakers.
Just finished this logo and booth idea for Schwab & Company.
So I watched the show intro today and found an image of a knife. I assume this is one of the knives that the teams will use on the show.
The coolest part of it is that I designed that knife with my friend Jack Dagger!! I was pretty stoked to see it on the screen!
This image from the intro.
Here’s two of the knives which were designed for The King of Fling, Jack Dagger.
Here’s a drawing I did of what the knife would look like with handles etc.
Size compared to hot Asian girl.
Here are some of the prototypes.
Initial Concept Design.
I did a bunch of cake sketches for the Ace of Cakes book. These weren’t used but I had fun drawing them.
I drew the top 5 designs from pics I was given of the original cakes made by Charm City Cakes. I designed the bottom 9 cakes myself and none of them were ever made into cakes!
Lakhwinder Singh Dhillon sent me a render he made of a ship I designed a few years ago.
It’s pretty cool to see your work in 3D!
Here’s another one he did.
I want to build my own Trek Style Phaser so I sketched these out over the last 2 days.
I’ll refine these sketches and eventually make one and post it in the Props Section.
