1998 Blueprint Ball Poster and Invite
I designed the poster and invite to the 1998 Blueprint Ball honoring Phillip Johnson.
The top image is the fold out poster. Unfortunately I had to shrink it to fit the page so you can’t see all the details.
The bottom image is a tri-fold invite which included a sweet velum insert. I did this while working at Origin Design.

1999 Blueprint Ball Poster
I designed the poster and invite to the 1999 Blueprint Ball honoring Cesar Pelli.
This is the front cover of a 2 sided poster that folds out vertically.
I did this while working at Origin Design.

Book Layout
Layout idea for a possible book on movie props. This would have been a great project but I didn’t have the time to work on it.

Promotional Concept Art
This was done back in the late 90’s. Due to circumstances beyond my control, it never went past the design phase.

Graphic Design
For the last 11 years I haven’t been able to do a lot of Print work. Prior to that I had the opportunity to do as much of it as I could handle. These covers were done while working at one of Houston’s Top 10 Design Firms Origin Design. When I started, I was 1 of 4 very talented folks. I’ll post more pieces as I find them. I believe these were done in 1997.

Houston Press
Here’s a cover and calligraphy idea for the Houston Press. This was done in 2007 and the can appeared on the final cover.

Surfhouse Designs
Here are a few T-Shirt and Board designs for Surfhouse in Houston.

Here’s one of the decks. 1st place prize for Mad Max at the Roundwall Rumble.

Embassy Skateboard Deck Graphics
Here are the first 3 decks graphics I designed for Embassy Skateboards.

Aliens
I was messing around in Photoshop using elements from other PSD files I made and I came up with this ad for the Aliens Pulse Rifle.

Nirmala Concept Car
I did the layout and Jonathan Mahieddine did the car concept/illustrations.
I made the text have a definite hierarchy and made the illustrators name/logo stand out on the bottom. The colored tab/line at the top would be for the titles. The right side would be for the name and company logo.
The colored dash on the right side just brings your eye down into the bottom where the illustrators name is. I kept the right side of the image white so that the viewers eye can flow down the white space and added a marker swoosh behind the sketches to tie them all together.
By keeping all the graphics simple and clean, I gave the page a more regal look.

Bond
I had some free time so I decided to redesign the James Bond ID card. The bottom right image shows how it would look in the ID scanner. There’s a bio chip that you need to have your finger on.

Warriors
I saw the original jacket at Comicon last year and took some picks. I loved the logo so I decided to make a J6Studios version. I changes the skull up but kept the rest pretty close to the original.

Book Spread
This piece is from a series of images that are self initiated.
I started to make collaged images of places I remember from my youth and my traveling.
This one is called “N”. It’s about New York. We used to go there when I was really young. The layout was inspired by the subway maps. I used 1 image from the “M” piece because these 2 pieces are related since they both deal with my time in the Northeastern U.S.
I wanted to add my recollections and the myth that my mind created about the place, then juxtapose that with modern images from recent trips and experiences I had.
