WETA has posted some of the concept art and sculpts from the movie!!

Weta’s design team, including concept designers Greg Broadmore, David Meng and Leri Greer, created a fantastical world for director Neill Blomkamp’s movie District 9.

Be sure to set your DVR to record Bones tonight (Thursday, Jan 21st). You won’t see my face, but you can clearly see my knives! I was the tech adviser and stunt knife thrower for David Boreanaz.

Then be sure to catch More Extreme Marksmen on the History Channel this Sunday (January 25th). You will see my face in this show. It’s a two hour special featuring the world’s greatest marksmen attempting insanely difficult challenges. The high speed videography is unprecedented, and the overall look of the show is simply amazing. I really hope you’ll get to see it!

My son turned 7 today!! We went to a pottery place and made a few things. I did the cup in front and the birthday boy did the robot.

The last of the famous 9 Old Men has passed away today at the age of 95.

He and Frank Thomas wrote the book “The Illusion of Life” which is one of the best books on animation.

The rest of the 9 old men were John Lounsbery, Les Clark, Wooilie Reitherman, Milt Kahl, Eric Larson, Marc Davis, Ward Kimball, Frank Thomas and of course Ollie Johnston.

I’ve officially been engulfed by the Technology Tsunami!

I’m sure this buzzword exists but I just made it up and have never seen it before.

I was looking into the Microsoft Silverlight and thinking there is too much stuff out there to learn. I feel like I’m caught up in the tide! Too bad I can’t sense the Rayleigh waves under my feet.

I want to thank everyone who made my birthday a lot of fun! I took the day off and hung out with my son most of the day. We got him some new shoes and walked around downtown.

The throwing axe I ordered came in today and I should get a few new throwing knives and an axe from Joe Darrah on Monday.

My Grandmother Cecelia Catherine Sehlke passed away today at 7:10pm. She was 90 years old.

She’s finally back with my Grandfather. I love her a lot, and I hope she’s happy!
